Hello, I am a retired Die Maker/Tool Designer/Engineer from General Motors who is trying to create a CNC mill using Quartz countertop reminates laminated with carbon fiber. I am posting my project on cnczone but keep coming here for advice. The quartz gives me good vibration damping with the carbon fiber giving high tensile strength for stiffness.
