These guys have a lot of good stuff , has anyone had any business with them lately ?
I’ve read they had a few customer relations problems when they where moving.
Just want to hear some recent first hand experience , and what products you ordered.

I just ordered from them last week and my order came in today. Everything looks good to me. I avoided them for a long time when they were moving. Hopefully they come through from now on.

I ordered a coloured fglass from them a few yews ago now and it was rubbish.
Seemed as though it was painted since was so stiff that it is totally useless for anything but dead flat. A can’t believe it was even available as a fabric!
I can’t use it, money down the toilet.
they have a huge ebay store, as well, I’ve never ordered from them but plan to.
I ordered from them a month or so ago, and was satisfied with the service and products, for the most part. The first order I placed, I received everything except the 1 gallon of black tooling gelcoat. No ‘backorder’ status on the ship tag, no email notification that it was not available, etc. A few days later I received another email stating that my order had shipped, and another day or two later I received the gelcoat. Oddly enough, the can was shipped from Composite Envisions but marked “U.S. Composites.” Regardless, I paid less than what U.S. Composites was charging and it will likely work the same anyway, so I didn’t worry about it. My guess is that they ran out, and sourced it from another competitor to complete the order, likely paying more than what they charged for the gallon, as well as shipping a separate package at their own expense.
A month or so later, I purchased several yards of fabric, core material, another gallon of tooling gelcoat, etc. Again, I received the items, except for one particular fabric which I had ordered a few yards of. This time the gelcoat had a ‘Composite Envisions’ tag on the can. Again, no ‘backordered’ status or notification of any kind, the invoice just showed that I was charged for it but it wasn’t shipped. Based on my previous experience, I decided to just wait a bit as I didn’t need it immediately anyway. A week later, I received a shipping notification, and a few days later received the remaining fabric I was waiting for. So I don’t know if they just happened to be out of the fabric I ordered, or what exactly happened there, but I’m not too worried about it because I did end up getting everything I ordered.
So to sum it up, I would and will definitely order from them again, but would be a little hesitant to if I NEEDED something within a certain timeframe. My only real complaint, is the lack of communication regarding items not shipped on time. I doubt anyone wants to spend money on anything, and then have to wonder “what happened?” or have to contact customer service, etc. Other than that, the products are high quality and they did ship the remainder of each order at their own expense, so I am satisfied. Hopefully this helps!

I ordered samples of the crazy fabrics they have… Came fast. The samples looked good but has anyone here done a layup with the colored fabrics from them? I’m curious as to how they would look in a laminate.

One time I had a back order and they were having trouble with their source but they made it happen as fast as possible

I have to step up for Composite Envisions. We have been buying from these guys for about a year. Jake and the team at Composite Envisions have been an integral part of our company’s success. We could not have gone this far without their product recommendations and general advice about everything composites. I HIGHLY recommend these guys!
I too have order from these guys and will speak highly of their service and willingness to help you if your a newbie or a seasoned pro. They are a great group of guy’s to the point in which they make you feel like family or at least for me, they have…
Just brilliant guys. This is exactly why I started this thread There was a bit of bad talk about them…and is always concerning for people spending $$$
And now I’m sure this thread will help people’s confidence and buy with these guys. Sure sounds like they are top people to deal with. Really nice to here that.

I’m well thanks mate. I haven’t ordered any yet , maybe in a few months when I carbon runs out. And yes the more you buy the better it becomes for us due to shipping. Bulk order is a must.
