Color problems!!!

Ok guys,

Here’s a very big problem for me. Most of the times when I copy a fairing to create a mold I have problem when I exit the fairing from the mold. Most of the time I leave some color of fairing to the new mold. I pass over 7-8 times of wax but still I have this problem. Someone told me to pass the fairing with PVA when I finish the wax, is that correct? Is there any other way? The fairing is off course plastic and if sometimes is repaint it then I have a very-very serious problem, any thoughts?

PVA would help but what resin matrix are you using?

If PER, use less MEKP% and less coats / layers at a time.

What do you mean PER?

If the fairings you are making are available as cheap race plastics, maybe better to buy a set of them to mould from rather than risk ruining the paint on OEM parts, and costing yourself a lot of time and money?
