Clear Coat Epoxy

So whats a good one? i have tried searching the site, and no1 has a link or name. i need something with good flex, and pretty decent heat resistance.

system3 has a good one, long cure time but very clear and its very tough. I used it on my bathroom concrete counter top I made. Only a couple small scratches over the last year thats with 3 people using the bathroom daily and lots of drunken louts on the weekends lol

Anyone try klear kote?

Yes, it works quite well. Best used on flat surfaces like carbon panels or wood countertops. Totally clear, and very glossy. Holds up well against scratches and normal hot objects, but not 250*+ temps.

i need 300* -+ temp

May I ask what the application is? If made properly, the parts can have a high gloss finish straight out of the mold, and won’t need any additional clear coating.
And epoxies are time consuming because they can’t be sprayed on anyways.

Oh no, the clear coat was for the resin infusion.

If the Part comes out good, then i wont need to spray, but i will have to spray something like duratec to save it from turning yellow…

its going to be in car engine areas.
