Question:

Will clear casting resin bond to an epoxy, carbon fiber laminate?

Does clear casting resin remain slightly flexible once cured, say a 5-10 mil thickness?

What are you trying to do?
If you want a glossy surface, Kleer Kote is great stuff.

Clear casting resin is PER and some on here state that PER will not stick to epoxy parts.

It will only stay flexible if you add flex additive.

Ahh ok I see. I didn’t know clear casting resin was in the PER family.

Yes, I just wanted to add this over an epoxy/carbon fiber overlay to create a clear, smooth surface to burry the weave. I also wanted something for burring the weave once a part is pulled from a male mold…the outside of the part being the cosmetic side.

edit: Thanks TET, I found it online and the price isn’t bad either. Do you recall what the mixed viscocity is of Klear Kote?
