I would hate to crack one while changing out tires, the popscicle stick trick to remove tires off the wheel would probably work though. 
I don’t know Gasper, a pair of racing 700C rims i had were a complete b*&c% to remove the racing tires off the rim; a very tight fit!
If they can handle the stress on a fast streetbike then a bicycle should be no problem.
