carbon wet layup

Anyone have any tips for wet layup carbon in the mold without air bubble trap?
Which is the best way to do wet layup:

  1. wet out the carbon first+ and let it sit to B stage and follow by the fiberglass backing.
  2. wet out both carbon and fiberglass at the same time (a little harder to do since fiberglass will move around the mold)

wet out just the fiberglass is so much easier since you can see through and detect bubbles right away but not carbon.

Just lay up all the plies, and let it cure.

are you doing a wetlay up with poly/vinyl and chopped mat or are you doing epoxy and cloth? make sure you use steal rollers to remove all the air with poly/vinyl. with epoxy just stippling the cloth should remove the air, also if you peelply the laminate you can see where you havent stippled with your brush. you can also use a steel roller with epoxy too, but it isnt as effective as with poly/vinyl
