So I’m in the works of drawing up this light load carbon tubing frame. Now I had a couple ideas for the ferrel. The first pic I was thinking of plugging the inside at a set depth. Then using resin and milled fibers and inject into the tubing. Then compress down using a plastic rod or something.
In the second pic I was thinking of taking a extra piece of tubing and making a replica of the angle. Then cut down the center lengthwise. And make a ferrel that way. Them I can use loctite 9340 to bond it together. What do you guys think? The tube I’m using is .50 ID and .63 OD that’s a beefy wall thickness for this application I think.
