Looking to make a carbon fiber steering wheel upon reading rubber silicone insert would be the best way to go at this. The article I read on this process wad using prepreg and relying on the Silicone insert to expand and put pressure on the die when heated to temp to cure. I do not have an oven and would like to infuse or wet lay and bag the part. If I have both halfs made and made a silicone insert would I be able to wet lay one half and put the silicone inert in and wrap the edge part of the way over for glue surface vacuum bag it?do the same with the other side only wrap opposite side partly over insert for more glue surface when joining. Would this process work out. Thankyou everyone again
