I am having some trouble with some parts, as you can see a close up i have small white dots, while some other parts do not have these at all. Anybody have a solution to this?
Thanks
I can’t see any white dots in the picture. Usually, anything white will be a void or bubbles, but the white will only appear at certain light angles. Usually any visual defect, if it isn’t FOD is trapped air.
Can you take another picture or point out a couple of these white dots?

are you applying a coating in mould, or after? Looks like its trapped solvents possibly. Usually happens when applying the coating too thick, or not waiting long enough between coats to allow for solvent to degass
I also can’t see the white dots in the pic but in addition to what the others said, it can sometimes be dirt and mold release stuck to the surface layer.
Again, without seeing the white dots it’s hard to respond in a useful way but whatever it is, if it is fairly superficial then you can sometimes wet sand the surface to clear up issues like that. If it’s just mold release, you might be able to wash and buff it off.
If it’s air bubbles then it’s a lay up problem. Whatever process and technique you are using, you are not removing all the trapped air.
I’m guessing the issue is air entrapment as I can’t see any white marks in the image, but perhaps from another angle they’re evident.
Is there a reason that you are not infusing?
Are you filtering your resin?
Its hard to see the dots in person. But no, I am not filtering my resin. Would that have anything to do with what seems like dust when you look really close at the carbon. From a foot away it looks amazing, up close you can see dust particles. Anybody had this problem before?
