Carbon fiber sadle rails adhesive

Hello,
I am on my way of creating the mandrel for my first carbon fiber sadle.
Although i tried to make a monocoque design i realized that the cons would be less than the pros. I am looking for the best cured carbon to cured carbon adhesive method. To be honest i have tried sone adhesive epoxy systems in the past but none of them has convinced me. For example i was bonding some cf stiks to a part and although 15 sticks bonded ok 2 didn’t.i never undestood why… Maybe some grease mabe oil maybe dirty. I can’t have this in production. Any suggestions? Does anyone know what is this black super glue that we see on youtube videos that bike manufacturers use to bond the 2 pieces of a bike frame to one?

Toughened epoxy glue or methacrylate.

methacrylate is usually a bit more forgiving in terms of prep. That said working on your methods to insure clean parts for bonding should definitely be on your list.

We used Dp490 or Hysol 9323 for bonding rails, and other bike parts. I would as stated above make sure all your abraded surfaces are correctly cleaned prior to any bonding.

Thank you a lot .
Do you sand the parts prior bonding ? Just to mat the surface a bit ? And if yes with what gritt ?
