Carbon fiber race seat unit

Hi.

New to this forum,from the UK, dont know much about carbon fiber also.

I have a aprilia rs125 with has been fitted with a rotax 257 engine, spent loads of money already.

I have got carbon fiber engine mounts which i didnt use just didnt trust them so went back to ali mounts.

Is there any one on this forum that is able to help. Im after a carbon fiber seat making, or would like a self supporting seat unit.

Is any one able to do this in the uk.

You have the best composites man right there in Yorkshire with MMC engineering. Mike probably won’t be interested in a one off product like that but will more than likely know who will. All the cost is in developing the molds for such a thing, don’t expect it to be cheap.

For a short while I worked in the UK at DPS Composites where I was making seats for GP500 bikes.

I am sure they can do it, but I bet it will cost too.

Thanks very much for the info.

Yes i know thats were all the money is in making moulds for them which is not cheap. Seen a some i love on this forum from morepower think his name, was on a rs250 , would love some think like that for my bike.
