Carbon fiber grid for reinforcement

Hi, has anyone come across carbon fiber mesh that has at least 1/4" grid? I found a product called C-grid by Chomarat, but I can’t get in touch with them.

Chomarat is French. The French are a total disaster to get into contact with.

Widen your search for basement wall/foundation reinforcement. They use some kevlar/carbon products for that as well. Blast protection is another one, but that is normally kevlar.

You could also contact Selcom in Italy (www.selcom-srl.com). They have a similar product. Mainly for concrete reinforcement. (they have a lot of old junk in Italy…)

hey look at what i am doing, similar as what you look for?

looks very similar, what do you use it for?

i use it to enhance damping and stiffness. what do you wanna use for?

Vector Net. The surf industry has gone nuts over this stuff

Dwight,

my grid is not vector net as what you think, that is why i may call this a little similar as vector net that i heard on the surf forum called swaylocks. Do you use any this grid on your board or fin? Cheers Robert
