Nice one! How do you attach it on the valve cover?? Some kind of glue?
Wow I am loving the digi camo! How are you doing that? Stencil and airbrush?
Very nice! What clear do you use? And do you wet sand it and polish after? Looks very smooth! Shame to eBay it, all that work!
very nice mate looks fantastic. you said you cleared it along with other stuff, what does “cleared” it mean? and what did you use to do this? forgive me very new to all this.
cheers
cleared: paint with transparent paint.
Basicly you have 3 options when it comes to carbon products:
-infuse and leave “as is” which gives a bit flat look, as the fibers are on the surface
-first apply a transparent gelcoat, then infuse. Gives a shine which resembles the shine of the mould.
-infuse, then “clear”. Gives a high shine (or a flat look, if you use flat paint)
oh ok i see. what would be the best way to clear? would you spray it on or use a paint brush? and what kind of paint is it, standard paint lacquer?
