if you want to increase working time, you should buy unpromoted resin, then alter the cobalt ratio, and the type of catalyst to tailor to the time you need. you can talk to your resin supplier and they can help you more specifically.
I have 2 gallons of silmar 249 along with carbon fiber to make some cosmetic parts with vacuum bagged in molds ove made, buying new resin is outta the question atm, only need 5-10 more minutes of working time before it starts to set up
Only mixing 6-7 oz at a time
erm … just do your infusion outside
Take less catalyst.
I did this recently where I did an infusion job on a day that hit 42C.
Of course we started the day very early, mould was 30 deg and I put my pre measured and uncatylised polyester resin in my freezer for 30 min and brought it down to 20 degrees before doing the job.
All went ok.
Hand layup in a mold then bagged
