Here’s a complete front clip we built. The front clip weighs 35 lbs. and is very strong. We also built the doors. Factory doors no internals weighed 47 lbs… Our doors weighed 9.8 lbs. and are very strong. We also built the rear wing. It was a great project to work on. Everything built with resin infusion in carbon fiber molds.
Man that’s great work! I someday hope to make doors but with safety as a main concern it makes me second guess some things.
May I ask did you use a core material or just all carbon in the doors?
