building a composite room

So I have a nice large shop but it is not very efficient. I just finished framing up a 10 x 10 room in it. I was just going to drywall and normally insulate. But after looking at Home Depot I ran across these and they seem like they would offer a great help.

I will be doing my infusions and post cures in this room. I am hoping I could get the room up to about 120 degrees F.

Any suggestions would be great.

We use these from time to time as an oven extender for larger parts. Work well.

I have seen a few pictures of homemade curing ovens that use those rigid panels.

I use the Rmax Thermasheath-3 Polyisocyanurate Rigid Foam Insulation Board for my curing oven at home. I was using the 1.5" stuff but, got some extra thick pieces from work. We had made an oven extension at work from the thicker stuff and it worked great. I have to build my improved version for my home shop.

Works good but the thinner stuff I was using was warping a bit from the heat. I think on the next version i’m going to put in some support insdie to keep the top from warping again.

I cure at 250F. 120F is super easy. You could just build a plastic tent around your parts with a small heater and hit 120F no problems. The ISO foam would get you over 120F easily so you’ll need a controller or a vent system to keep the temp where you want it.

All in all it should be cake.
