Bubbles occur in laminate - while resin was degassed

Hey guys I need little help on solving one problem…

I made some changes to my infusion system:

  • changed my epoxy into less viscosity ones ( like 230 mpas)
  • improved sealants quality.

Now when everything is laid up , I degass resin as always in the vacuum chamber for like 15 minutes , then infuse the part…

The problem is I see hundreds of bubbles coming from nowhere , most of them on the resin front line, some of them simply stay in place between peel ply and mesh.

I really dont know what is going on here… my vacuum is now better my resin is better so where those bubbles come from

With old resin and not 100% sealed bag I didnt have such problems…

How does the part look? Better or worse?

Both parts will be released today, Hojo why you asking?

Im just doubtful it will look good because of these bubbles

Its normal to see bubbling at the resin front. It might just be that more air is able to be flushed out during infusion because viscosity is lower. Could be a lot of things. But it doesn’t mean your part has been affected

Yes resin at fron line is common thing , but some of those bubbles just stayed in place
