Hi Folks - I’m a textiles guy in real life and realized that I can supply breather and bleeder fabrics much cheaper than everyone is paying now. I set up a small website to sell fabrics. I’m starting out with your basic 4 oz sy polyester breather fabric 61" wide. 10 yard rolls with be $19.99 plus shipping and 100 LY rolls with be $149.99 plus shipping.

If there is interest, I have access to many other materials including bagging films, flashbreaker tape, and some release fabrics and films.

whats the weight of the breather fabric? nevermind seen on your website.

I just edited the post to include it here. I can do other weights, but 4 oz seems to be the most popular (and what my customer needed) so I started with that. If there is enough demand, I can do other weights.

it really depends what you are doing, 4oz, 7oz, and 10oz are all common weights

maybe if there is interest people would buy a lightweight polyester, tightly woven, to use as peel ply. I used to buy some stuff from WalMart but i had to peel it off within 2 hours of the part curing or it became a permanent layer of the part :o We were using vinyl ester. We would vacuum bag the lay up for 2 hours then tear off the “peel ply”.

I can look into a woven fabric for peel ply. It is completely different from the breather. I’m working on a perforated film peel ply right now.

would it be possible to get a very small sample of the breather and tape?
