So I made tubes. Some are for sale on Ebay, others are being made for what I think might be a part of the Koenigsegg CCX. At least that would be awesome if they were for that car!!!
How did you make those CF tubes? With Dunstone shrink wrapping? 
No sir. Some random plastic wrapping that were used on our old project of fiberglass antennas. It doesn’t shrink.
There is a machine that wraps the fiberglass around a mandrel (like a ciggarette wrapping machine), and then another that wraps the tape, at what I guess is high tension.
I just hand wrap…it hurts like HELL after 24 inches!!
My problem is, I STILL get resin leakage, and tape edge bridging!!! I wish I had a roll of 3" wide shrink tape.
