I have a fibre glass/carbon fibre layered bonnet that doesn’t sit too great, the middle of it sits too high. will it settle down if weight is added on it and left for a while?
If you can heat the part, or more specifically the area you want to manipulate, past the resin’s Tg (glass transition temperature), you should be able to manipulate the shape I bit… I’d imagine.
Sounds like a layup that some significant internal tension due to a poor layup strategy. You can reshape it with some heat but it will come right after it sits in the sun awhile.
