bonding two parts together, what adheasive is best?

Currently working on carbon hood tooling, which consists of a outer skin and inner structure. I want to bond the two together. Auto makers use a urethane adhesive to bond metal door skins and body parts to metal. I need something that will hold and set up in about 2-3 hours. It also must be heat resistant enough to live under a hood. I would prefer it came in a tube to be applied easily. Anyone have suggestions??

thanks

you will get more heat from the hood out in the sun then you would engine heat. but as far as adheasive, I am using a goops marine adheasive and that has been working great.

Norton makes several automaotive grade adhesives that work very well , OEM’s use them to build cars.
