bonding bearing races in CF parts?

What is the process used to put bearing races and other metal parts in CF bodies? The example that comes to mind is CF bicycles - with the headsets, bottom brackets, seat tube clamps, dropouts, and brake pins.

Is all that just epoxied in AFTER the CF part is made and cured or is it there during layup? Can you machine CF once it it cured and epoxy stuff like this in?

I depends greatly on the load that part will be exposed to for very low loads you can usually mil and bond, for anything that has more load the point must be engineered and usally is layed up in the part with extra reinforcents in the area
