Hi guys,

this is my new creation for the BMW GS1200. My customer asking to change and the tank to 100% carbon fiber but believe me that is a very expensive part which mean customer turn back :smiley:

Those are very nice parts! Are they original, or did you splash mold OEM parts and then lam with CF?

I made copy from the original parts and then copy. This parts are full completely replacement parts.

The silicone can make perfect copy. You making all the procedure to create mold but instead of polyester you add silicone.

That sounds great! Do you still add fiber glass and then just impregnate with silicone instead of resin?
