What kind of bleeder or relief valve can I put on a resin trap? I’m looking at similar resin traps that have a brass valve on top with a ring to pull that opens the valve to allow atmospheric air to fill back into the vacuum when you’re ready to release the mold. I’m finding similar looking products at mcmaster-carr, but all say that they are only for pressure vessels that relieve excess pressure, not vacuum. Can anyone lead me to a part (preferably with a 1/4-NPT male fitting on the connector end) that would suit this application?
Keep it simple and use a ball valve. A good one.
Not sure what your trying to do but if it’s build a vacumn pot, save yourself time and money and buy one from bestvaluevacs.com. They have a great product at a very reasonable price and they are fast too.
A ball balve is all you need. Make sure it does not blow into your bucket, or resin will splash up when opened
use barb hose fittings, and just pull off one of the tubes…
