Hey, here are few of the things I made…

A full carbon Gsxr Tail while buffing (only carbon vaccum bagged & epoxy as per owners wishes)

weight of the OEM around 1.5 -2 kg
weight of the carbon 350grams :eek:

and a front fender for my bike (carbon and epoxy vaccumed)

Did you make a multi piece mold for the tailpiece

Yeap, it would have been imposible to demold it otherwise.

Darn nice job on that tail and front CBR600 fender!

I just threw away a F4i front fender mold last week to make some room here to work. Threw away a couple other molds too that were not perfect anyhow accept two of them no one would buy.

My F4i fender mold sucked anyhow. too many flaws in it.

damn i can never get a non porous surface like that when vacuum bagging… great work man!

How many hours did it take to make those gsxr ram air intake panels for the pair? Looks tricky to say the least.

FastRR I would say approximately 6 hours in total cause it’s a 3d shape

did you do any other parts of the bike? I have an 03 gsxr1000 and want to replace the fairings but don’t have time to do it myself.

beauty! did you have to trim the parts or were the edges rolled?

I try to make my molds with the edges rolled, althought it’s a b*tch and asking for bridging trouble

would you be able to post a pic of a rolled edge that you speak of? I can’t picture the mold…

Few more parts I made during the past weeks. At the moment it’s too hot to make anything…

For a DragRace car of a friend (parts out of the mold while sanding- ~-70% weight reduction)

It’s a one piece mold, if I had to make it again I would make it two pieces mold, cause it was a pain’’’ to demold the part without breaking it.
