As you can see, got the side one sorted, but whats best way for the front corner?
It will all be rubbed down, primer, 2k painted and then mould taken.
MDF cut to shape?

you guys just need to start fooling arounnd with different materials and find what you like best. if you decide to go with mdf you will need a nice plane, preferbly made from wood, and some nice chisels
The metal on the right hand side of the photo is the flange? What is that green stuff - clay or? Yeah or more sheet metal cut with a pair of sheet metal hand shears… or mdf like you said.
Yeah the metal is the flange for the sides and more than likely the back and the front.
Its just getting it to conform to that leading edge and making sure the mould will release (just got to make sure their is no complex curve for it to catch on)
The green/blue stuff is filler (bondo to you)
This is a pic of the rear of the bonnet (hood). It has an edge which goes back on itself, something i am not happy with. The idea behind it is that as the air flows over the bonnet, it will flow back into the carbs.
I might just ignore that edge and take a flange from the bottom of it and leave it with a straight edge instead.
