I finished reading Composite Materials Fabrication Handbook V1 by John Wanberg. I’m sure he’s a nice guy, but to call the book incomplete would be an understatement. Judging by vol. 1, I don’t have any hope for vol. 2 or 3. I need a book or books that contain the kind of information that I have been asking here. I remain very grateful for the well informed responses, but being able to study from a book instead of peppering a forum with questions several times day has its advantages. Amazon search results have been questionable.
This is the best book by far:
Composites are so versatile, it is very hard to cover every aspect. By far the best way to learn is to do (by yourself, or an internship), and to ask specific questions on your project. Forums are great for that. And you arrived at one of the best forums.
