Hello everyone,
I finally decided to give infusion a go after years of toying with the idea. The problem I have is that all my molds are very complex and I need a stretchy bagging film that will stand up to esther resins while infusing. I’ve been using the green airtech stretchy for wet bagging and although it works great for infusing with epoxy, it’s just terrible for esther resins. Can you guys recommend a bagging film with good elongation that works well with infusion? It would also be nice not to have to buy a 1000’ roll. Thanks fellas
the online shop for airtech sells only the strechlon 200… the good one is the 800.
i use the stretchlon 800, BUT i’m using epoxy. If you wanted to try the 800, it’s available online thru www.fiberglasssupply.com by the yard. www.fiberlay.com also sells it by the yard.
stretchbag 2000 works awesome and is very durable, very reliable. made by richmond aircraft, can get from northern fiberglass, www.nfgsales.com
thanks for the replies fellas.
I ordered a roll of the stretch vac 2000. $$$$$$
neither would sell to me in greece
I looked on that site for prices and as usually, no prices stated. I can understand that policy with competition looking then undercutting them but…
Care to tell us the roll price cost or by the yard? If not on here, PM me personally.
I have several part rolls of peel plys, release films & vacuum bagging and I want to sell them below market on here or eBay.
