This part i infused yesterday… the vacuum line spiral wrap had black resin in it …it picked up the carbon from the cloth and dyed the resin black… WTF?
I know for a fact the cf twill cloth came from China.
What do you experts think is the problem or what caused this to happen?
I use the same resin and ratio all the time and have never had this issue prior.
edit: dang i’m sorry guys… i figured it out. it is the black dyed e-glass in the laminate. I forgot that dye comes off easy on hands so i imagine the resin probably carried the dye off the cloth into the vacuum line.
i bought as black e glass… i just forgot i that stuff does that. Man my mind sometimes… overloaded so i forget some things.
