attempt at doing multiple molds at once

enjoy!!! ill post pics once im done polishing

I’m confused, what do you mean by doing “multiple molds at once”?

gelcoat spraying or laying the glass

nice idea of using some carbon scraps as strength members around the edges and stuff!!

pre sand/polish…fresh out of the mold with mild clay cleanup

fiberscraps should be used for something right? might as wel make the mold rigid

sprayed gelcoat and did all the glass layup at the same time…usually i only do 1 mold at a time, i did 3 molds this day, ill post pictures of the 3rd mold when im done with it…im actually making 4 molds of 1 part then ill join the 4 molds together so i can produce 4 of the smaller parts at a time

Good job, but watch out for warping on that smaller mold. The edges will curl inwards toward the gelcoat side.
You should really be reinforcing the backside of the molds to keep their shape.

i do with scraps of carbon fiber and the layup process is as follows after the gelcoat, woven roving in the tight corners/areas, veil, 2.9oz glass 2 layers, 8 layers of csm glass mat, carbon fiber on the edges

hey B, (racdout) i’m doing two molds at the same time today. I’ll probably finish the final layers of cloth/resin for both molds on Monday night.
