do you use gel coat in your molds?

how did you get the black around the vents on the last picture (I think it’s a lower fairing?)

Yes I use Gel coat, now about the black line is double acrylic black color and I use it only for cosmetic.

do you paint it onto the complete part?

Yeap:) …

That looks great!

Just a question on the gelcoat… do you use the “normal” gelcoat used on mould making etc? (only transparant  )
Can the transparant gelcoat (based on polyester) be used on a carbon layer (epoxy based) or is there another gelcoat on that?

Made myself some flat pieces that went (finaly) right and strong. Only the toplayer isn’t half that nice and glossy’s as yours…

Then again, verry verry nice job

I am using a normal with UV prt. and is poly based. Now if you use geal coat for epoxy resin to be honest I don’t know. But I know from a friend of me that is no problem. Just to have it in mind, when I finish the product I am using polish cream for better and shining results.

Nice work again George

I love that bike… Aprilla Tuono. Have you seen the new Triumph Street Tripple?

great job as usual george!

polyester clear gelcoat has no problem working with epoxy resin on carbon…

Yeah,

now I already have in all the parts to change it to carbon panels;) and thxs for your good words people.
