Anything else i can use??

ive got modeling clay to fill round the edges of my flanges and can use it to fill the larger bits on my plug but…

what can i use to do the (insert the swear word of your choice) tiny gaps.
Im getting well annoyed as the clay dries out leaving bits all over my polished part. The gaps are only about a 1mm but im not going to happy until there filled.

Any suggestions are welcome!! (and needed)

cheers Mike

Modeling clay is oil based and will not dry out. I hope you didn’t get ceramic clay for pottery…

ive just used plasticine

DOH!!! i guess this dumb stupid thick twatish bloke brought the wrong clay!

Why do i have to do everything the hard way.

Oh and just incase your wandering yes my clay does dry out.
(if any one wants some clay that dries out or play-do please contact me  )

and as for you rubbing salt in the wounds  thanks for the tip if i cant find the proper clay i will have a scout about for plasticine

“Plasticine” is a good oil based clay. It technically does dry out…but that takes a few years of sitting in the open air. A zip-loc bag fixes that problem.
It’s also really temperature sensitive stuff. Like don’t use it on the really, really hot days in the summer cause it will just sag on you…same goes for cold. It’s rock hard when it’s cold (so warm it up in your hands before using)
