I love these carbon mountain bike brake levers by hope. Any ideas how they make these.
I would think they are prepreg made in press tooling. Do you think they would have a core? look pretty fiddly to layup and finish. 
Dunno, buy one and cut it open.
I might imagine that they can be 2 things:
1: Rolled up wet/dry/prepreg CF, shoved in a mold half, and clamped (and then cooked, infused, RTM, etc)
2: small shaped core with braided sleeves over top, which will conform to the core dimensions, and then clamped between a mold.
Wow, Hope and Formula disc brakes are getting awesome! I love the floating sawblade look discs!!!
…or a thick CF flat plate and then laser / water jet cut out?
Hope make lots of CNC machined parts for off road bikes, so might be made in the same way?
