Hello everyone. I am brand new to the forum and I’m looking for some local help. I have a project that I want to recreate in carbon fiber. I’ve already made this custom (drum rack) structure out of aluminum but I want to go even lighter in weight than it is. I have no experience with Carbon fiber at all and would love to learn from someone that has at least some experience with it. Most of this structure is made from 1.5 inch OD round tubing. I can simply buy the long pieces of CF tube that I need already pre made. It’s the connectors that I’ll need to fabricate in order to join the pipes together. These connectors will need to be structurally supportive and that’s why I could really use someone that knows what they are doing. The connectors will be simple 90 degree elbows and a few Ts. At any rate thank you for reading this post and I hope to hear from someone in my area that might be able to help.
