Hi,
I’m preparing to mould a small boat hull, wet lay glass and ampreg 22 (std hardener), vacuum consolidated.
I’ve done a number of test pieces using the same laminating schedule and process, and everything the resin is very brittle once cured, to the point that it crumbles in your fingers.
This is creating very poor parts.
The resin is brand new and in date. It is mixed accurately with digital scales. Temperature of the workshop is circa 15 degrees Celsius, slightly below the 18 grunt suggest as the minimum.
Has anyone got any sugsetions?
Many thanks.
