adhesive strips

Hi All, i’ve made some CF mirror covers to fit over OEM mirrors, so far so good and the covers fit perfectly but the issue i’m grappling with is finding adhesive strips to use so that i can secure the covers with, ideally they should be thin enough not to cause any fitment issues. what are you guys using and how have you secured your covers, lastly where can I get the adhesive strips - a link will be great.

3m make a product that is commonly used for body kits and such. I got mine from a local body shop, its only about 1mm thick and has a red backing.

Great stuff but you need to correctly prepare both surfaces.

or you could but a few dabs of silicone under the covers.
