Will the two laminate up to each other? I have a plastic (abs) panel that is missing a corner. If it will work is it ok to use cheap resin… i want to say polyethelen resin?

No it wont work it will just crack away.
Rough the inside of the panel up with 80 girt or more coarse paper (36 grit)
Clean with alcohol (rubbing not bacardi)
then use some aluminum body tape…get it at a paint store or some clay to make a form out of a good panel (if its a corner or tab) and then put that in place so you can fill it with
DURABOND 40-40
then when it hardens (10 minutes) peel the aluminum out and sand smooth.
Should be rock solid.
