Has anyone taken the Abaris composites training courses in Reno, NV? I’m considering taking a class, however they are quite expensive, $1495 for a beginning class. I just wanted to know if the classes are worth it? I want to get into composites and build a human powered vehicle and perhaps go into the compoiste industry. I currently work as a manufacturing engineer for a defense contractor.

I’ve heard a lot about that class too. Besides that and Cerritos College, there aren’t very many advanced composite programs available.
Unfortunately, I live in Northern California. Cerritos College and the OC are quite far from me, about 5-6 hour drive minimum. I’ve checked out the Cerritos College program a nd it seems quite impressive.
Sampe trade shows have seminars also and they have some coming in Nov. in San Diego.
They will have the grand trade show sometime around March or so in Long Beach, Ca.
