A question about Fiberglass.

Hello, sorry if it is not the right forum and directory to write in, but anyway I have a question.
Can you use Fiberglass in a room? Because I want to have a fiberglass table in there, and I don’t know anything about it. I want something of this kind

can anyone help me? Maybe some tip or advice.
Thank you for your understanding.

Yes, fibreglass can be used in a room. Sometimes, however, things made from fibreglass and polyester resin can smell for quite a long time. Things made from fibreglass and epoxy resin usually don’t smell bad.
That chair is a cool design.

Thank you. And how much can a custom made table cost? And will it be glossy?
Is it really hard to make one yourself?

Sweet, making one of those ball chairs is on my mile-long to-do list!

I don’t know how much someone would charge you to make a table, but I’d probably have a heart attack. It could be glossy, matte, rough, whatever you and your wallet want!

You might try some smaller things first before attempting to make a table, something easy and cheap.

That is an injection molded product with glass fibers mixed in for added strength.

You could buy one, make Fiberglass molds off both sides and use them to compress mold fiberglass / carbon fiber copies, but you probally will be needing post molding finishing.

Thank you very much. I think that I’ll try something small first. I think it is much more interesting to make something yourself, than buy already made.
Thanks again.
