A few thing I have lay up

Well, just to show a few things that I have lay up, and thanks a lot all the members that had shared their knowledge, I appreciate it.

Firsts lay ups, experiments, I did not like a lot the finishing, but anyway it looks wonderful in my old truck, I just started playing on a few items on my truck. First lesson learned: to be patiend and take one step at the time!!!

Then, next parts looked very nice!

then, I made the fuel door overlay, It looked really nice!

Then I made a fuel door for a friend, he has a compact ford KA modified,

looks good.
are they all overlays?

Thanks Extreme, yes, all of them are overlays.

I am playing with infusion rigth now, as I get some nice I will show some pics. I am working on a soccer shin guards and also on a hood.

Also I overlay the front & rear lip for a mazda 3 speed. I started to enjoy the finish!

hi, i used to do over lay good with carbon fibers and epoxy resin on plastic (PP or ABS) car interior/exterior parts.

after certain period, when i have use it. maybe it is because hot temperature, the surface that was smooth will become weavy, abit distortion.

i still can not find out how to deal with this. i live in a tropical country.

Make sure you let your resin reach its full cure cycle before you begin your finish work. If you try to rush things and finish too early, your resin can distort the nice flat smooth surface you have created and the texture of you reinforcement under the resin will begin to show.
