Hey, I’m new to the board. I’ve got some experience in fiberglass, and I’m reading up and going to try a few projects with CF. I’ve read just about every post on this board so far. Great source to learn!
One thing that I’m being told by a guy locally (who has taken composites in college) is that with CF after it reaches a temperature of 10 degrees celcius that it’s ruined. From what I’ve read the optimum temperature is 70 degrees farenheit which is 20 celcius. So I’m pretty sure he’s wrong there but he insists it’s true. Also being told that the actual fabric will expire if not used within a certain period of time. I don’t remember reading any of that in the posts.
And… one last thing. Does anybody know of a good place to buy the material in Canada instead of having to get it shipped accross the border.
