I’d like to see a calculation which will help predict the dry textile thickness or the CPT from a multilayered woven material. The fibre would be CF and the weave style would be Orthogonal, Angle Interlock or Layer to Layer. I would know the weaving densities so tows per cm and the fibre density, kilotex etc etc. Is there a calculation? I appreciate bulk factor may vary from one machine set up to another but a fairly accurate calculation would be wonderful.
