Can you pour two part foam into a mold and release it just as you would when making a fiberglass part?
Not really, the foam will stick to pretty much everything and anything. You’ll need to line the mold surface with some plastic or something or else you’ll end up with a trashed mold.
hmmm. Do you have any ideas on how to make this part?
rectangle frame 3’ x 4’ with cross sections. The frame will be 1.5" square tubing. The only thing I could think of was making the frame out of foam and wrapping it with fiberglass. Problem is I want to mass produce this part so a mold is needed but I don’t think a bladder will work.
Just buy pre formed PUR foam sheets and cut them to the needed size and fiberglass them.???
