I thought I’d never see a racing “PINTO” to roll, but we had 3x roll this last year at Irwindale Speedway…
British motoring at it best lol. (theres actully quite a large following of those cars over here, theyve been in production for 15+ years :roll: )
There was a story about someone putting a ferrari engine in one and the police werent able to tell how fast it was going :lol:
What model is a pinto over with you guys? We only have pinto engines ie 2.0l but in lots of car.

spotted you (ive still got dial up :roll:) took ages to find and load up a pic of you but then when i went back through them i noticed that you were at the front of the grid!! (well third row). 8)
(I think we have the capri over here. Not sure if its the same as the one your racing but it looks similar, prob not as quick though

Hey, we have worked real hard to get to the front. Out of 26 to 28 race cars in our class that will show up for a race, I’ll qualify between 2nd and 6th, but with the invert, you never know where I’ll start.
If the track doesn’t screw me or another racer takes me out (or blocks me for most of the race) I’ll finish in the top 5 most of times, if I don’t dial myself out trying different things with the chassis trying to lead a lap or winning my first race there. I have 4x 2nds, many 3rds, 4ths and 5ths…but next year, it will come! :roll:

I do hope you get that no1 finish spot sounds like you (and your team) are doing well! I was well impressed when i saw your car at the front of the grid when i went back.
I did think about banger racing a one point but cash was not permitting and i dont really like hospitals :lol:
I never took it the wrong way. All is good. “Banger racing” would make a great race team name… :lol:
I have hit many times, just look at last year in Sept. I got my left front wheel smash into the firewall (a guy that blocked me for 25 laps the race before turn right into the left front wheel trying to block me agai, but I didn’t turn away), still almost passed for the lead (teammate behind me was pushing me thru…bump drafting) and then just about everyone in the pack piled into me and I never felt a thing! Build a tough and safe race car and it helps to prevent injuries.
so not only did some git block you for 25 laps but he knackered your car up aswell! i hope brought you a pint or two afterwards!! (i will check the pics in a mo and see if i can spot the damage)
