Whats your layup table?

Haha you got me worried now, how bad is it? Just like when you get zapped by a car or something?

Sometimes a minor shock, like a car door. A few times I screamed so loudly I had to leave the lab and calm down. Twice I have nearly collapsed from the pain and shock of seeing a 2" long spark leave my body to a mold/metal roll frame.
ALWAYS ground yourself when unrolling plastic film and parts…unless you are lucky.

A few years ago I wanted a large table to work on. I built this with a 5x9’ 1" plywood, covered it with laminate, stressed it down the middle full length with two “T” angles, wraped the sides with 1/4" channel, got the mig welder out with some 2" box, bought 6 craftsman tool boxes & hung some old snap-on side boxes on the end. In the center I mounted the thomas pump with two pancake air tanks for reserve.

Dang Tom you always get to play with the cool stuff.

Nice looking pit carts!

What temperature does the laminate see when pressing? Did you use typical contact adhesive to apply it? Thanks for the pictures!

I know where you can get a piece of tempered glass 4’ x 7’ for around $50. craigslist = arcadia door:)

You need to try aluminum films
