Weird kinda branch looking marks

just found out my supplier sent me the same poly resin and not VER

ok, sent about 20 pictures to several companies in hopes they can help as well. All but one of them said it is most likely the super 77 cause of how wide spread it is and airtech thought it was the tack spray as well. I have one going up now without the aide of tack spray, I used a little but not as much as I usually do. When my part is curing there is no heat coming from it, I put my hand on the back of it and it is still cold while curing so I thing the heat part is not my problem. I will know when I pop this part. I am using super 77 on the carbon between the gel coat. I think I failed to mention that.

If you use a light (key word Light) mist, you shouldn’t have any problems. I use 77 spray on all my nfusions.

I was not spraying to all hell but enough that it was causing the problems.

YES!!! Perfect pop!!! that was the problem, the super 77. Thanks everyone for your help!!!

So are you say ing that you used the airtech adhesive or the 77 spray with lighter coats?

no I used the airtach on the other layers but the first, and I used the tackyness of the gel coat to hold the carbon in place

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH…grasshopper…

Great to hear you are getting successful parts now!

He never said they were successful?

Just kidding. Great news

yeah I am pretty happy, I called airtech and they said their stuff is almost identical to super77’s old formula, the new formula they took out some harmful stuff if exposed to it for hours at a time and made it a lot harder to dissolve. They told me resin alone will not dissolve any of them that heat is needed as well, that is also why I was having problems since I thought it was heat I was catalyzing way low so there was really low heat and I am using another type of catalyst, starts with a © that is made for VER in infusion and I can catalyze at 2 1/2% and fully cure in 4 hours with almost no heat.
