vacuum infusion problem

If i infuse twill or plain with the same resin will work ?

Tnx

You should make a drop test and should not have more than 1mbar/min pressuredrop. And infuse with full vacuum

To be honest Hanaldo, I have never persevered with it. CSM is not suitable for my application. Perhaps it is the binder.

Could be a moisture related problem. In humid climates, dry your materials before infusing them.

Maybe it’s correct.

Thanks

THis is also infusion problem : I can not avoid matt surface after “77” glue. Can not use it less because of mould surface.
Same result with MTI or without. Possible to see clear area where i washed mould surface from “77”

That’s just what spray adhesive does, especially Super 77. The only one I’ve ever found that didn’t affect surface finish was Cytec Aerofix 3, but others said that it does so it appears to depend on the resin you are using.

You can avoid the problem by using an in-mould coating. Or, if you clear coat your part after its made then this will also hide the adhesive residue.

I had Cytec’s aerofix, but i had same problem with lower effect.Need to avoid adhesive, but dont know how

Can you use an in-mould clear coat?

Yes,but it takes time and efforts.+ were we have some ribs and it would be too much clear coat on little grooves and too much clear when viewed against the light after demoulding. I mean that it is not beauty when carbon lies flat on uneven surfaces. I’d prefer to understand how to fix carbon without 77 …Maybe intensifiers in some areas?

Backing off vac pressure only helps if you have ALOT of layers. It helps to let the resin run though multiple layers to wet out.
