Would 1" or 2" peel ply tape work? It releases the same on the adhesive side as the release side. I never had a resin react to the adhesive before. I use it all the time doing repairs. I tape the fabric and cut my plys and bond. Very easy for my purpose. If your not familiar with the product I’m talking about it is like two inch masking tape but instead it’s peel ply. I believe 3m makes the product we use.
