Styrofoam prep?

Why dont you help us with composites. Maybe some tutorials aboute fiberglass materials like step by step.

Let’s see:
I have my own business since 1977,

I have been teaching this subject matter for 12 years,

Just rewrote the class course outline (3rd time in the 12 years) over the last year and fought with the supervisors to get the program split itno 2x classes, Thermoformable and Theromsetting for next Sept…

Just finish this years class (worst class in many years) and had end of the school year grade books and other items due…

I’ve been trying to replace my teachers aide, but it is easier to replace the teacher or close the class than replace the aide…too long of stories over the last 2 years…

My classroom is finally getting repainted (the smell of styrene made several students to drop out) after 15+ years, but who has to remove everything for the union painters, me…

The local Plastics industry just donated a 10 year old (from a medical clean room) Boy Injection molder to replace our '60’s Van Dorn, which I had to rebuild every semester, but who gets to figure out how to run this new machine and make the molds for it, me…

Look in the motorsports section, I had a major hand in the ACVW Community Hurricane relief / Pinks car, not once but 2 of the 3x builds…

I have 2x race cars here for me to build for customers, but while towing one down from Santa Barbara, my van lost it’s engine…it is almost removed now…

Plus home remodeling going on too…

I did over a month ago sent to my partner and a moderator my class handouts for them to scan and post them for everyone, but they are also too busy…

So, I’m trying to take some time off and getting some rest.

PS: Try reading all the threads on here as just about everything has been discussed before…

And again, please start a new thread for your questions…

Werksberg: sorry for ask anything.

Werksberg is not mad at you, but This is a free web site that he foots the bills for, so my guess is he is helping, we are all his guests.
To translate what he just said

  1. One he is very busy with his jobs and this is a not for profit site (free) so sometimes other things take priority.
2)most of your questions have already been answered someplace on this forum, use the search up top to search for the answer to your question
  2. if you have a question ask it in new thread, That is make a new topic if it does not apply to this topic, btw this topic is about styrofoam prep. If you have question about something else open a new topic and some one will give you help on that topic.
  3. he has been working on some step by steps but has a busty life and it takes time to post up stuff for free. There are already several step by steps in the tutorial section. read them and ask questions in new topics, new topics just keep the forum easier to navigate.
    Have a nice day.

Thank you Bricklin as I also lost a very good friend due to a suspension failure at high speeds on a local street near my classroom too…
